Bigg Boss 9: No male contestant strong enough to win the show, says Aman Verma

Actor Aman Verma feels the ninth season of celebrity reality show "Bigg Boss" will have a female participant as a winner as he does not see any male contestant strong enough for the title.

Aman, who becomes the latest contestant to get evicted from the Bigg Boss house, has placed his bets on Kishwer Merchant, Mandana Karimi and Rochelle Rao.

"I see Kishwer, Mandana and Rochelle going till the finals. Mandana is mentally strong, though she is ill at the moment. Kishwer is also very strong but her only minus is that she does not check what she says."

"She does some negative things that get against her. Rochelle is doing really good. I don't think there is any guy there, who is strong enough (to win)," Aman told PTI post his eviction.

The 44-year-old TV star is particularly impressed the way Rochelle, his friend in the house, has turned out after her boyfriend Keith Sequiera's emergency exit.

"Earlier she was under his shadow but now she has come in her own. Keith's exit has proved beneficial for her. Rochelle speaks her mind, fights her battles. I personally want her to win the show."

Rochelle and Mandana's friendship has hit a rough patch after a task last week where the former was required to speak ill of the Iranian beauty.

Aman, who shared a good equation with both of them, does not see their path up happening.

"If Mandana thinks someone is not good that stays with her. It will be difficult for her to trust Rochelle. Also Rochelle is concerned, I don't think she needs anyone now. She is enough for herself."

When quizzed about the animosity between him and co-contestant Rishabh Sinha, Aman blamed the "Qubool Hai" star's "irritating" behaviour.

"He is very irritating. He used to pick fights unnecessarily to create controversy. That's his personality." Aman feels it is "unfair" that contestants like him are getting eliminated but actress Rimi Sen, who has often expressed her disinterest in the show, is going strong.

"Of course that is unfair. Here, we used to perform and Rimi would not do anything and it resulted in the loss of the whole house. That is not fair at all."

With his calm demeanour and a calculated approach, Aman had emerged as one of the strongest contestants on the series and hence his elimination came as a shock to many.

He, however, believes his peace-seeking attitude is to blame for his ouster from the controversial show.

"I have learnt a lesson that if you don't shout, scream, behave badly with others or abuse it is difficult to survive on such a show. But I wanted to be known as someone, who is classy, sophisticated and comes from a background." "Bigg Boss" airs on Colors.

Bigg Boss 9: ‘Big Brother’ experience an ‘advantage’ for Priya Malik

Priya Malik, who was part of the Australian version of controversial show "Big Brother", will be seen entering the "Bigg Boss Nau" house as a wild card entrant.

Priya Malik, who was part of the Australian version of controversial show “Big Brother”, will be seen entering the “Bigg Boss Nau” house as a wild card entrant.
She says her experience at the international show will be an “advantage” for her here.
Asked if she was jittery about entering the “Bigg Boss Nau” house, Priya, who is popularly known as Posh Spice of Australian TV told IANS over phone from Lonavla: “I am not jittery at all! In fact, I have been on “Big Brother” (Australia), which is a similar format, if not identical. I think that puts me at an advantage.”

Priya, who is a high school teacher in Adelaide, has her roots in Dehradun. She was part of “Big Brother Australia” in 2014, and is the fourth wild card entry to enter “Bigg Boss Nau”.
She says her “strategy is to not to be afraid of showing who I truly am unless I am Kishwar (Merchant) because that’s not what everyone wants to see.”

The 28-year-old says she doesn’t have any “favourites” in the house and dislikes maximum housemates, who are a mix of showbiz celebrities.

“I don’t have any favourites this season… I’m talking as an audience. The list of people I dislike is a lot longer than the people I like in the house at the moment.
“Other than Rochelle Rao, I do like things about her… Then Keith Sequeira. I like him if he is coming back, and I like Digangana Suryavanshi as there is nothing to dislike (about her); she has done nothing, she’s like a little statue and so I don’t mind a statue,” quipped Priya, who has been living in Australia for the past seven years.

While on “Big Bother” in Australia last year, she reportedly faced severe racial backlash which even escalated to death threats long after getting evicted from the show. Priya has faced bullying and trolled on social media.
Asked who according to her doesn’t deserve to be in the house, Priya said: “Rimi Sen doesn’t deserve to be in the house. It’s really insulting to sign a show and to not be a part of it. I’m going to tell her like it is.”
The show features celebrity contestants in a game of survival wherein they are locked in an isolated house for around three months sans the luxuries they are used to, under 24X7 camera surveillance.

Bigg Boss 9 Day 40: Rochelle and Mandana turn arch nemesis again?

Bigg Boss 9 Day 40: Rochelle and Mandana turn arch nemesis again?
Day 40 gives you food for thought - is all really fair in love, war and tasks? Exhibiting so-called 'fairness', Suyyash who is the supervisor of the task, turns to equality by giving the three captaincy candidates - Aman, Rochelle and girlfriend Kishwer - a second chance during the captaincy task.

While the three chosen candidates for the next captain are to hold a bowl of coloured water each, they are also to ensure that they maintain constant hand contact with the bowl and do not spill the water. Meanwhile, Rishabh and Mandana are busy talking about how it does not really matter who wins. Adding to Rishabh's point, Mandana says that Rochelle and Prince are once again thick as thieves!

Much to the amusement of the housemates, the gates of the Bigg Boss house open and in comes a rack of clothes accompanied by attendants. Their curiosity levels peak when the attendants do not speak a word about the role of the rack in the house. Soon the housemates forget about the newest element and focus on the captaincy task. Aman tickles all three contenders, trying to make them spill their drink.

Everyone joins the dots when the third wild card of the season, fashionista Kawaljeet Singh enters the house. Kawaljeet greets the housemates with a warm smile and tells Kishwer that she is ruling the house.

When Rochelle gets blamed by Rishabh for playing dirty, she gets defensive. She tells Rishabh that he would only understand her situation if he had someone outside the house who was sick, making a reference to Keith's exit. At this point, Mandana interferes and says that Rochelle does not have to pretend like she is a nice and sweet girl because she showed her true colours when she spoke against Mandana during the secret room task. Defending herself, an irked Rochelle tells her that she is nice and sweet girl and she will always stand by it.

She explains that Mandana is forgetting that it was the task which made her speak against Mandana. Mandana, once again, displays her escapist attitude by walking away from the situation. Turning her back on Rochelle, she leaves Rochelle screaming in the garden about how Mandana should stop spreading rumours about her.

While Kishwer, Suyyash, Rochelle and Aman are discussing the task which just took place, Prince indulges in a soliloquy of sorts where he expresses that he feels targeted during the captaincy task. Later into the night, Bigg Boss makes an announcement which brings to life the worst nightmare for the housemates. What could it be and what changes will it ring about in the house?

'Bigg Boss 9' spoiler: Kishwer Merchantt becomes the new captain; Prince and Suyyash have differences

After the re-entry of Mandana Karimi in "Bigg Boss 9", the prelude of the next episode saw housemates competing against each other in the captaincy task.

While the viewers must be eagerly waiting to watch the episode on Friday, according to Twitter buzz, Kishwer Merchantt has become the new captain of the house.

Based on the Shararati Bachen task, Rimi Sen was asked to nominate three best contenders. She chose Kishwer, Rochelle Rao and Prince Narula. The three contestants had to compete against each other for the captaincy task. Kishwer emerged as the winner of the task, thereby becoming the new captain of the house.

Suyyash Rai, who was the captain of the house, was asked to monitor the captaincy task and declare the winner based on the contenders' performances. Further, the buzz is that during the captaincy task, there was a clash between Prince, Kishwer and Suyyash.

The upcoming episode will also see the entry of third wild card contestant Kanwaljeet Singh, a well-known fashion designer.

Meanwhile, in the last episode, Mandana blasted Rochelle for betraying her despite the latter trying to reason with her that it was a task and that she had to bitch about Mandana in order to save herself from elimination. But Mandana affirmed that the game was about exposing the reality of the housemates.

'Bigg Boss 9': Digangana Suryavanshi's father doesn't approve of daughter's closeness with Rishabh Sinha?

"Bigg Boss 9" is a place where equations change at the drop of a hat. Digangana Suryavanshi and Rishabh Sinha were like chalk and cheese when the latter entered the mad house. But right now, their friendship has not only strengthened but according to a few housemates, the 18-year-old girl gets all jealous if another woman talks to him.

Eliminated contestant Puneet Vashist, who was around long enough to understand what was going on between the two, said they were more like a couple. But Digangana's father hasn't taken very kindly to the actor's comments.

Talking to Bollywood Life, he said how perceptions and thoughts change from person to person. And Puneet's two cents on what Digangana and Rishabh share only goes on to show what kind of a man he is. The gentleman also added how he'd like to believe what he sees on the show than believe Puneet's story.

"Puneet could have called them even as 'brother-sister', But he tagged them as 'husband and wife' because that's how he his. So now you know the difference? According to me I still believe they are like brother-sister or good friends!," the web portal quoted the father as saying.

"Puneet is being like one of my friend who was once told by his mom that beta dekho yeh teri behen jaisi hai and he was like, "Behen jaisi kyu, biwi jaisi kyu nahin ho sakti." So you see, there is a way in delivering your thoughts!," he further elaborated.

In other news, cracks are beginning to appear in the solid friendship Prince Narula, Suyyash Rai and Kishwer Merchant so blindly rely on. Mandana Karimi is ready to be sent off to the secret room from where she will keep a check on people.

Bigg Boss 9: Puneet Vashisht accuses Salman Khan of cheating!

Puneet Vashisht who cannot believe that he's been voted out of the show feels Salman Khan has played a foul game with him...

Such is the game of Bigg Boss that many times when contestants are evicted from the house, they end up blaming Salman Khan for being biased. But this year, Bigg Boss 9 contestants have done something absolutely new. What? They have started accusing the superstar of rigging votes on the show and calling the shots.

After Arvind Vegda was ousted from the house, he blatantly stated that it's Salman who decides who will be taken out of the show. Although this comment shocked the small screen industry, Puneet Vashisht who was eliminated last week told Bollywoodlife.com, "Everything is finalised according to Salman. I am not saying the show is scripted but you really need to be in the good books of Salman to last on this show! Last year Gautam Gulati won the show because he is so much like a version of Salman. Toh socha hoga haan chalo yeh meri tarah hai and he won!"

Puneet even claims that like last year, this season Salman will choose another favourite contestant of his to lift the trophy. Who would it be? "This year I am so sure Salman is going to make Mandana Karimi win.Although I am no one to judge but according to my reading, she is the biggest two faced woman I have ever seen in my life! She was good friends with me initially but gradually changed sides as per her wish. But Bigg Boss will never focus on that. They’ll only show her side where she is complaining about Kishwer, acting cute or showing her dresses to people around. Nobody is seeing the inner side and everybody is seeing just the outer manipulative side! Ethics wise this is a total s**t show," he added.

Not just that, Puneet also crossed the line and blatantly blamed Puneet for his exit. "I dunno why Salman doesn’t like me but it was evident! Maybe he couldn’t see my talent selling on the show. I was shocked when I found out that the whole segment where Aman and I performed a talent house task was deleted from the weekend episode. Why would Salman want to sell someone else’s talent on his show? Even my votes weren’t less! I figured out that I got huge support from my people who had actually voted for me. But Salman personally didn’t like me. Or maybe even the channel thought I am not being how they wanted me to be inside the house. They introduced me to create fights, controversies. But after a while, I was like why should I act so fake? I am not such a kind of person and can’t live in lies! So yea, everything came against me but I am glad I am out. Realised a lot of things in that few days stay on Bigg Boss 9.″

All that we say is Puneet, we wish you were a little more mature in your reasonings. After all, it's evident it's just another case of sour grapes. Sadly, even digital ratings show that you were the weakest contestant (vote-wise and popularity-wise) on digital platforms. So it's better you lap up the idea that you certainly aren't the best in everything you do. And coming to the blame-game, you've completely screwed up the idea of doing a film with Salman for sure. After all, we did see how you wagged your tail in front of the actor on the show for a film!

Bigg Boss 9: From kids wreaking mayhem to an unwilling Rimi

Who wouldn't love the idea of going back to their childhood? Last night, the Bigg Boss contestants got just the opportunity to turn into little rascals. A fun task to celebrate Children's Day saw Rochelle, Rishabh, Kishwer and Prince acting as troublesome toddlers left in a day care centre. Trust these four to cause chaos in the house. Perhaps this is the reason Mr Bigg decided to put them in one team. Aman, Digangana, Suyyash and Mandana were the teachers at the day care centre. The task was simple; the children had to use all means possible to make their teachers lose their cool. The test of patience would be judged by a supervisor, Rimi.

As mayhem ensued with the "kids" running around in diapers, chucking dirt, screaming on the top of their voices and creating a racket, their handlers found it amusing rather than irritating. Digangana kept her calm and displayed her exceptional nanny skills , even after being pushed into the swimming pool by Prince. Aman proved to be an admirable gentle teacher and Mandana, who was ill today, was one of those substitute teachers who is usually ignored.

It would perhaps have been easier to make Rimi the annoying kid today given that she is already testing the patience of many contestants in the house with her lack of interest. After proving to be a liability for most of the teams she has been in the past, Bigg Boss has been assigning her job of a neutral task supervisor in the recent tasks. But the unwilling actor refused to perform this role as well. Begging and pleading by the housemates also couldn't deter Rimi from her mission of being evicted from the house. Finally, captain Suyyash took away her mattress as punishment. But given Rimi's personality, she will hardly protest this act as well. We hope Rimi's prayers are answered soon!

The task will continue again tonight with the roles being reversed. Given the unique talent of the contestants turning every fun task into a war zone like situation, we already know that this task too will be no child's play. The webspace is also abuzz with the rumours of a sudden eviction, and it's not Rimi. After Keith's exit, we wouldn't want any more of our favourites to leave.

Bigg Boss 9: Mandana faces eviction, gets sent to secret room

Yes, the popular contestant on Bigg Boss this year will be taken out of the house after being called the weakest performer in the luxury budget task this week. But there's huge twist

While launching the luxury budget task for this week, Bigg Boss had announced that the elimination for this week will depend on the task results. And here it is. while we already told you that Mandana has been taken out of the house, she was supposed to return to the house after her medical treatment was complete. Soon enough, Bigg Boss announced that Mandana will be evicted from the house this week.

After two days of task, Bigg Boss called sanchalak (supervisor) Rimi to the confession room and asked her to give name of the worst performer of the task. Rimi took Mandana's name and Bigg Boss asked Mandana to pack her bags and get ready to leave the house as she is evicted. Everyone was shocked to hear about Mandana's eviction and Rochelle and Kishwer broke into tears.

But hang on there! Before you also break into tears, here's the real dope. The housemates are oblivious of the fact that this is a fake eviction and Mandana has been kept in a secret room from where she will be watching everyone and will soon re-enter the house.

This is similar to what Bigg Boss had done previously with many contestants. From Imam Siddiqui to Gautam Gulati and even Raja Chaudhary, many faced fake evictions only to re-enter the house soon. So Mandana now joins that list!

Bigg Boss 9 update: Keith to come back in the house with another girl?

Keith Sequeira fans, here's good some news! The model will soon be back in the game, according to host Salman Khan.

After conducting a majorly needed grilling session of inmates Kishwer Merchantt and Prince Narula, during last night's episode of Bigg Boss 9, host Salman Khan revealed something that interested Rochelle Maria Rao the most in the house.

The Prem Ratan Dhan Payo actor shared the big news about Keith Sequeira returning to the house soon. The model had to leave the Bigg Boss house due to the untimely demise of his younger brother, Ian Sequeira. Asking his girlfriend and fellow housemate, Rochelle to stay strong in his absence, Keith wasted no time in returning to his family in Delhi.

However that wasn't the only piece of news Salman shared during last night's episode. He also teased Rochelle by saying that Keith will come back in the house soon 'with another girl'.

With the knowledge of her boyfriend's return added to her lack of eviction, the day surely ended on an exciting note for Rochelle. When the announcement about Keith's exit was made, everyone was skeptical about how the former beauty queen would fare in the house, now that her boyfriend wasn't around. The tables seem to have turned, as Keith's absence only gave Rochelle a chance to prove her mettle on the show.

Puneet Vashishth is the latest contestant to be evicted from the ongoing reality show Bigg Boss. The actor, who entered the show as a wild card entry just a week ago, was voted out on Sunday’s episode.
Best known for his negative role in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Josh, Puneet has acted in several films and TV soaps. During his stay inside the Bigg Boss house, nothing seemed to work in his favor and he drew a lot a criticism for his weird antics. The housemates found it difficult to adjust with his personality and preferred to keep him at distance most of the time. Puneet ended up making more foes than friends and all this resulted in his early exit from the house.

On Sunday’s episode, ex-Bigg Boss contestant Gautam Gulati visited Salman Khan and the housemates. The cast of Hate Story 3, including Karan Singh Grover, Sharman Joshi, Daisy Shah, and Zarine Khan, also visited the show’s sets.

Bigg Boss 9: Aman Verma Just Shared His Life’s Biggest Regret & It’s Actually Quite Sad!

Yes, the Bigg Boss 9 house is all about drama and fights and the works. But every now and then, an ususpecting housemate reveals a side of themselves that really humanizes them and hence, connects with the audience. I think Aman Verma had that moment in last night’s episode. Mandana Karimi asked him what his life’s greatest regret was and he said:

"When things were really looking up for me, I wish there was someone to guide me. Whatever I’ve done, I’ve had to do by myself. I’ve never really had a guide. Suddenly my life started going really fast and I feel it went to my head a little. I became pompous. In fact, the first serious relationship I had when I came to Mumbai – I wish I had married her. If I had, my life would be quite different now. It’s still good, but it could’ve been better."

That’s actually quite sad to hear. Especially because if you’ve followed the television scene for long enough, you know Aman had it pretty good back in the day. He was being touted as the next best thing. Aman was hosting the shows everyone wanted to anchor and playing characters everyone wanted to play. It was really a moment of misjudgment I feel that caused his downfall. Here’s hoping Bigg Boss helps him resurrect his career.

Bigg Boss 9: Fight with Kishwer and Suyyash leaves Rochelle in tears!

Bigg Boss' Diwali task saw a huge mayhem inside the house when the two teams could not come to common consensus, leading to a heated argument between Kishwer-Suyyash and Rochelle.

It's Diwali time inside the Bigg Boss 9 house. All the contestants are given a task in which they need to perform entertaining acts and they are divided into two teams.

Rimi and Rochelle have to perform individual dances and the two start preparing their acts. That is when Suyyash plans to do a cameo in Rimi's performance and this irks Rochelle. The two teams go overboard and fight over this. Kishwer and Rochelle raise their voices and end up crying.

Soon enough, all the other contestants join in the mayhem and what we have is a riot in place of the fun task. The whole house starts fighting with each other due to minor disagreements and issues. The situation becomes ugly and the two teams don't want to see eye to eye with each other.

Thankfully, Aman plays the pacifier and requests everyone to stop fighting because it's Diwali. The two teams finally come to a consensus and perform their acts with vigor and enthusiasm. Like they say, all is well that ends well in the Bigg Boss house!

Bigg Boss 9: Mandana kicks Kishwer, blames Prince for touching her improperly!

Mandana Karimi is slowly turning out to be the biggest drama queen of this season. In the latest luxury budget task, she not only kicked Kishwer but also blamed Prince for touching her inappropriately!

Waking up to ‘Yaha Ke Hum Sikandar’, team A and B are all geared up to face the round two of the highway task. Everyone’s sitting in the bedroom when Aman asks Rishabh the reason of fall out between Digangana and him, Rishabh tells Aman his version of the incident and turns around to Digangana and asks her if he’s right. However Digangana disagrees and narrates her side of story. Later, Aman is seen discussing with Mandana about having an upper hand in the task over the opposition team because they have the chance to be well prepared before the buzzer goes on. Kishwer finds mashed potatoes in the sink and is furious about the fact that the housemates are being reckless and wasting food.

Later in the day, when Bigg Boss asks all the contestants to gather in the living room, Mandana realizes that her shawl and sipper is missing. When she goes around the house looking for it, Rochelle tells her that she saw Prince taking it and hiding somewhere. Mandana confronts Prince and refuses to start the task until she finds her belongings. Meanwhile team A is seen convincing Mandana to drop the thought and continue with the task.

On second day of the task, It is team A’s turn to ride the cycle rickshaw while Team B vows to take revenge. Kishwer swears that she will irritate Mandana to a level where she gives up the task. Team B bothers the opposition team by throwing dustbin waste and cold water on them. Targeting Mandana, Prince pours cold water on her irritating her further. In order to save Mandana’s mike, Kishwer holds it and pulls it aside when Mandana unexpectedly kicks Kishwer hitting her abdomen. In no time, Kishwer hits the ceiling and throws away her mike announcing that she won’t continue with the task. She also asks her team members Suyyash, Prince, Rimi and Puneet to comply with her. Later, Kishwer is called in the confession room where Bigg Boss asks her to continue with the task. However, Kishwer point blank denies and asks Bigg Boss to take some action against Mandana only then she will resume the task. After coming out of the confession room, Kishwer asks Prince and Suyyash to continue with the task.

They further attack the opposition team with full force and start putting hairspray on everyone.  Prince sprays it over Digangana who starts feeling sick and puckish. To team A’s relief, Bigg Boss unceremoniously calls off the task soon after. Mandana goes into the bedroom and starts crying as she fells unsafe in the house. Later Rochelle finds Keith’s jacket that Suyyash had worn during the task and asks him to return it to her. Rochelle rushes into the washroom to wash off the dirt and cries over the fact that the jacket has been ruined. Mandana finds Rochelle crying and tells her that Kishwer, Suyyash and Prince want to break her and she shouldn’t let them get to her.

As the day comes to an end, Kishwer tells Rishabh that being the captain of the house he should have taken a stand when Mandana kicked her. Rishabh tries to argue but Kishwer proves her point. Soon after, Bigg Boss tells everyone to assemble in the living area and punishes Mandana for her actions. Upset with Bigg Boss’s decision, Mandana blames Prince for touching her inappropriately during the task. Prince is shocked by this accusation and walks out. At the same time, Rochelle is seen talking to Aman where she tells him that after Mandana, she is going to be on everyone’s target and she’s scared by the mere thought.

Bigg Boss 9: Yuvika Chaudhary eliminated!

Among the ones nominated this week, it's Yuvika who has been ousted from the show.

Their love story just started blooming but before it could reach the perfect culmination, viewers pulled down the curtains on their brewing triangle love affair. Why? Prince and Rishabh are both besotted by Yuvika and we hear that this week, Yuvika has been evicted from the show.

While she was nominated along with Aman Verma, Rimi Sen, Mandana Karimi and Digangana Suryavanshi, Mandana received the highest number of votes yet again and was considered safe. Rimi too has been consistently getting a good number of votes which is why she has survived the evictions for the last few weeks. Among the other ones, it was Yuvika who was asked to come out of the show because of low votes.

With Yuvika's elimination, now there are 11 people remaining in the house. But guess who's the most heartbroken? Obviously Prince! The Splitsvilla contestant, who recently professed his love for Yuvika on national TV, could barely start his affair and it was time for Yuvika to leave. Will Prince come out and talk it out with Yuvika? Will he find someone else now? Let's wait and find out.
