Bigg Boss 9: No male contestant strong enough to win the show, says Aman Verma

Actor Aman Verma feels the ninth season of celebrity reality show "Bigg Boss" will have a female participant as a winner as he does not see any male contestant strong enough for the title.

Aman, who becomes the latest contestant to get evicted from the Bigg Boss house, has placed his bets on Kishwer Merchant, Mandana Karimi and Rochelle Rao.

"I see Kishwer, Mandana and Rochelle going till the finals. Mandana is mentally strong, though she is ill at the moment. Kishwer is also very strong but her only minus is that she does not check what she says."

"She does some negative things that get against her. Rochelle is doing really good. I don't think there is any guy there, who is strong enough (to win)," Aman told PTI post his eviction.

The 44-year-old TV star is particularly impressed the way Rochelle, his friend in the house, has turned out after her boyfriend Keith Sequiera's emergency exit.

"Earlier she was under his shadow but now she has come in her own. Keith's exit has proved beneficial for her. Rochelle speaks her mind, fights her battles. I personally want her to win the show."

Rochelle and Mandana's friendship has hit a rough patch after a task last week where the former was required to speak ill of the Iranian beauty.

Aman, who shared a good equation with both of them, does not see their path up happening.

"If Mandana thinks someone is not good that stays with her. It will be difficult for her to trust Rochelle. Also Rochelle is concerned, I don't think she needs anyone now. She is enough for herself."

When quizzed about the animosity between him and co-contestant Rishabh Sinha, Aman blamed the "Qubool Hai" star's "irritating" behaviour.

"He is very irritating. He used to pick fights unnecessarily to create controversy. That's his personality." Aman feels it is "unfair" that contestants like him are getting eliminated but actress Rimi Sen, who has often expressed her disinterest in the show, is going strong.

"Of course that is unfair. Here, we used to perform and Rimi would not do anything and it resulted in the loss of the whole house. That is not fair at all."

With his calm demeanour and a calculated approach, Aman had emerged as one of the strongest contestants on the series and hence his elimination came as a shock to many.

He, however, believes his peace-seeking attitude is to blame for his ouster from the controversial show.

"I have learnt a lesson that if you don't shout, scream, behave badly with others or abuse it is difficult to survive on such a show. But I wanted to be known as someone, who is classy, sophisticated and comes from a background." "Bigg Boss" airs on Colors.

9 Reasons We Want to Quit Watching Bigg Boss 9 Right Now

suyyash

Bigg Boss is a one-stop entertainment show for many of us - be it the difficult tasks or cheering for our favourite contestants. However, we are a little disappointed with the current season. Not only has the show lowered its standards with rubbish tasks, but the contestants too are adding fuel to the dismay. Here are 9 things about this season that left us wanting to quit watching the show.

kishwer

1. Treating contestants as a dog: We all remember how Rishabh, who entered the house as a wild card entrant, started creating a mess in the house. Mandana and Rishabh took the hotel task a tad too seriously. It was humiliating to watch Kishwer being treated as a dog for hours. It's a task but you can always do it with some dignity, which of course didn't occur to these two contestants.

2. Spitting in food is the new low: Of course, the consequence of treating Kishwer as a dog resulted in her spitting ice cubes in Mandana's juice in the hotel task. This resulted in a big spat in the house, as Mandana wanted to leave the house. How can someone go to such low standards for revenge?

rimi

3. Bored contestants: Well apart from a few over-enthusiastic contestants like Mandana, Rochelle, Kishwer, Suyyash and Prince, there other contestants who are just lost in the house. Aman, Diangana and Rimi are contestants who are already done with the show, it seems.

4. Physical abuse: Who can forget Mandana kicking Kishwer? Everyone knows that physical abuse is absolutely against the rules, but it seems the anger and rage of the constants is getting over their minds.

5. Creating fights for screen time: We know fights and arguments are the key ingredients of Bigg Boss, but we can't stand the constant nuisance that is being used to grab screen time. Be it Kishwer or Mandana, the constant nagging is boring.

keith

6. No eye-candy: Let's accept the fact after Keith and Yuvika were evicted, there are no pretty faces to watch, in the show. In fact, they were the ones who were calm to take the game just like a game and not make it a house of scream. We need some good new faces in the show.

7. Need more interesting contestants: With just a few contestants in the house, it's time to get some wild card entries. Rushabh has sustained his stay but Puneet was shown the door and was evicted last week. We need some more contestants to add glam and fun, and raise the entertainment quotient. We don't mind Keith coming back to the show.

bigg

8. All are pretentious souls: Keith was one contestant who played fair and square, but after his exit due to family reasons, the show seems to have been filled with jokers, who would go to any extent to win the game.

9. Respect and dignity is nowhere to be seen: We know Bigg Boss is one place where you lose it all, but if there is one thing that we can expect the contestants to hold back, it is their own dignity and respect, and give the same to others. But that too seems to have left us in shock!

Bigg Boss 9: From kids wreaking mayhem to an unwilling Rimi

Who wouldn't love the idea of going back to their childhood? Last night, the Bigg Boss contestants got just the opportunity to turn into little rascals. A fun task to celebrate Children's Day saw Rochelle, Rishabh, Kishwer and Prince acting as troublesome toddlers left in a day care centre. Trust these four to cause chaos in the house. Perhaps this is the reason Mr Bigg decided to put them in one team. Aman, Digangana, Suyyash and Mandana were the teachers at the day care centre. The task was simple; the children had to use all means possible to make their teachers lose their cool. The test of patience would be judged by a supervisor, Rimi.

As mayhem ensued with the "kids" running around in diapers, chucking dirt, screaming on the top of their voices and creating a racket, their handlers found it amusing rather than irritating. Digangana kept her calm and displayed her exceptional nanny skills , even after being pushed into the swimming pool by Prince. Aman proved to be an admirable gentle teacher and Mandana, who was ill today, was one of those substitute teachers who is usually ignored.

It would perhaps have been easier to make Rimi the annoying kid today given that she is already testing the patience of many contestants in the house with her lack of interest. After proving to be a liability for most of the teams she has been in the past, Bigg Boss has been assigning her job of a neutral task supervisor in the recent tasks. But the unwilling actor refused to perform this role as well. Begging and pleading by the housemates also couldn't deter Rimi from her mission of being evicted from the house. Finally, captain Suyyash took away her mattress as punishment. But given Rimi's personality, she will hardly protest this act as well. We hope Rimi's prayers are answered soon!

The task will continue again tonight with the roles being reversed. Given the unique talent of the contestants turning every fun task into a war zone like situation, we already know that this task too will be no child's play. The webspace is also abuzz with the rumours of a sudden eviction, and it's not Rimi. After Keith's exit, we wouldn't want any more of our favourites to leave.

Bigg Boss 9: Fight with Kishwer and Suyyash leaves Rochelle in tears!

Bigg Boss' Diwali task saw a huge mayhem inside the house when the two teams could not come to common consensus, leading to a heated argument between Kishwer-Suyyash and Rochelle.

It's Diwali time inside the Bigg Boss 9 house. All the contestants are given a task in which they need to perform entertaining acts and they are divided into two teams.

Rimi and Rochelle have to perform individual dances and the two start preparing their acts. That is when Suyyash plans to do a cameo in Rimi's performance and this irks Rochelle. The two teams go overboard and fight over this. Kishwer and Rochelle raise their voices and end up crying.

Soon enough, all the other contestants join in the mayhem and what we have is a riot in place of the fun task. The whole house starts fighting with each other due to minor disagreements and issues. The situation becomes ugly and the two teams don't want to see eye to eye with each other.

Thankfully, Aman plays the pacifier and requests everyone to stop fighting because it's Diwali. The two teams finally come to a consensus and perform their acts with vigor and enthusiasm. Like they say, all is well that ends well in the Bigg Boss house!

Bigg Boss 9: Family emergency forces Keith out of the house

Reports suggest that he decided to quit the show because Bigg Boss
informed him on Friday’s episode that his brother has died.

TV actor Keith Sequiera has opted out of Bigg Boss 9 because of a family emergency. Not much is known yet about the circumstances under which the 35-year-old decided to leave the house. It is also not clear if he will come back to the show at a later date. Reports suggest that he decided to quit the show because Bigg Boss informed him on Friday’s episode that his brother has died.
Meanwhile, sparks are flying all around inside the Bigg Boss house, and it looks like the pressures of staying in the game is taking a toll on the contestants. In Friday’s episode, it is Mandana who is at the wrong of the stick: First she runs into Rishabh and Kishwar who blame her for not involving herself enough with household chores, and then in the evening, Yuvika gives her a piece of her mind, leaving Mandana in tears, threatening to quit the show.
The day begins with Rochelle confronting Puneet for “talking to the camera when the lights are out and everybody else is asleep”. Puneet plays it cool, and gets unexpected support from Kishwar and Yuvika, who overhear their conversation.
Later in the day, the housemates are seen discussing Yuvika’s love preferences when she tells everyone that if it had not been for Rochelle, she would not mind being “set up” with Keith. She adds that Rimi and Keith would also make a good pair and she would have loved to see them together. Rochelle overhears them discussing about Keith and gets upset.

Rimi Sen tending to her daily chores.

She vents it out to Keith and tells Rishabh about Yuvika’s take on Keith. But he remains unaffected and supports Yuvika saying she is finally opening up. Rishabh also makes his side clear by informing Yuvika about his conversation with Rochelle and how she is being successful in irking the housemates. Mentoring her further, Rishabh tells Yuvika to react more strongly the next time she finds any such opportunity.

Later in the evening, when Rishabh asks Mandana to clean the carpet, she refuses saying the carpet need not be cleaned every day. Kishwer then jumps into the conversation and blames Mandana for never involving herself with any household chores. This quickly snowballs into a fight when Mandana asks Rishabh to take his own decisions and keep Kishwer away from her matters. However, Mandana ends up cleaning the place very reluctantly.
The day further turns out to be a bad one for Mandana when she gets into a fight with Yuvika. When Yuvika is cleaning the bed, she shifts couple of items from Keith’s bed to Mandana’s which she does not appreciate. She asks Yuvika to keep Keith’s stuff back, leaving the latter furious. Yuvika gets extremely upset and lashes out at Madana. Hurt by Yuvika’s comments, Mandana cries her heart out in front of Puneet and says she wants to quit the show.

When Bigg Boss asks them to name three of the most disappointing performers during the hotel task, the housemates vote against Rimi Sen, Rishabh Sinha and Mandana Karimi. The trio is then called into the Double Trouble room and is given four different options. The result of the task would decide housemates’ fate to sleep on their comfortable beds or sleep without it.

Later, Puneet and Rochelle speak to Digangana on why she is being friendly with Rishabh in spite of all that had transpired between them. While Rochelle leaves the conversation midway, Puneet tells her about her grandmother and mother being worried about her rapport with Rishabh inside the house.

Bigg Boss 9: Keith-Rochelle, Suyyash-Kishwar get cozy

Suyyash and Kishwar caught kissing inside the Bigg Boss house. (COLORS)

If you’ve been waiting for some action between the sheets inside the Bigg Boss house, here it is. Two couples -- Keith and Rochelle, and Suyyash and Kishwar -- were caught getting cozy with each other after the lights were out inside the house. Leaked pictures show the two pairs kissing and making out with each other.

In Friday’s episode, BB asks the new captain, Prince, to choose the top three rule breakers in the house. He nominates Rochelle, Mandana and Yuvika. The trio is then called to three separate booths and given four options: If any one of them presses the buzzer, the other two will face the punishment; if two of them do it, the third one will be in the dock; if all of them press the buzzer together, they will have to nominate two who’d face the punishment; and if no one presses the buzzer, they will have to single out one of them to face the punishment.

After the task, Mandana and Rochelle get into an ugly argument when Mandana calls Rochelle selfish. Keith tries to play the peacemaker and tries to calm Rochelle down. The couple then bitches about Mandana’s modus operandi of befriending people for her selfish gains and then dumping them as soon as her work is done. Later in afternoon, Rochelle also tells Digangana that Mandana has manipulative ways. On the other hand, Kishwer tells Yuvika that she finds Mandana very upfront and bold.

In the evening, Bigg Boss introduces the task ‘Sachai Ka Saamna’ which takes the contestants through a reality check of the ‘Good’, ‘Bad’ and ‘Ugly’. Rimi is asked to spot ‘good’ things about the contestants while Mandana and Aman are asked to identify the ‘bad’ and ‘ugly’ qualities respectively. This brings out all the buried issues and gives the contestants a chance to openly confront people. It creates a permanent crack in Mandana and Rochelle’s friendship, as they vent out their frustrations about each other. At the same time Kishwer and Mandana get a chance to strengthen their budding friendship. They bond over similarities in their personality and behaviour.

'Bigg Boss 9' Day 10: Mandana Karimi fights with all housemates

At wee hour when the entire house is asleep, Suyyash and Prince are seen toiling at the Lagaan task to earn few extra brownie points. As people wake up to ‘Chakkar Ghumiyo’ they are dreading the thought of churning flour under the scorching sun.

Rochelle Rao tries to reason with Aman Verma

Meanwhile, determined at dutifully meting out his responsibility, Arvind tries to keep a watch but falls asleep on the park bench. Rimi declares that she wants to give up because she has lost the will power to push herself through the task while others are in agreement with her. Tired by the arduous Lagaan task, the contestants are coming up with innovative techniques to win the task and end their ordeal. Rochelle and Mandana are trying hard to sustenance and continue with the task. At the same time, they also discuss how Yuvika is wasting too much time while making paranthas.

Suyyash and Prince

Bigg Boss has a conversation with Keith about their performance after which Keith comes up with an idea of stealing coins from the pot. While everyone is contemplating this thought, Suyyash decides to opt out as he cannot betray his zamindaar girlfriend Kishwer. Taking this thought forward, Mandana and Keith let go off all inhibitions and steal the coins. Claiming that they are helpless and 'fugly', Mandana is chanting the slogan 'Zamindaar Murdabad, Fugly Log Zindabad'. She is also seen dancing with joy at the thought of winning against the zamindaars… or is it just the thought of seeing Kishwer in distress ?

Mandana stealing during the task - the act which led to her fighting with all housemates

At the same time, other contestants are guilty about stealing the coins from zamindaars as their conscience begins to prick them. As a team, the housemates arrive at a consensus of returning the coins to the zamindaars and also apologizing them. Mandana is evidently upset with this decision and insists on counting all the coins before returning them. Furthermore, the conversation takes a steep route and turns into a heated argument between Mandana and the other housemates. Furious and annoyed Mandana removes her belt and mike and throws it away mentioning that she is always on everyone’s radar in the house. Adamant about not losing the luxury budget at Mandana’s cost, housemates appeal to Bigg Boss to convince Mandana to follow the rules.

The never ending drama, fights and a boatload of backbiting takes a toll on Mandana and she falls ill to an extent that she is put on saline under doctor’s supervision. Looking at Mandana’s situation, vulnerable Rochelle breaks down and prays for her recovery. To everyone’s relief, Bigg Boss announces end of the task as the action-packed day comes to an end.

Keith comforts an ill Mandana

A little too much or a little too less, but the Bigg Boss house will never be sans drama. After an eventful day who will be declared as the ultimate winners- zamindaars or workers?

'Bigg Boss 9': Viewers want Arvind Vegda to get eliminated this week

Arvind Vegda

The first elimination of "Bigg Boss 9" will take place this weekend and one of the contestants will bid-adieu to the show in the first week itself.
While the evicted contestant's name will be revealed only on Sunday by host Salman Khan, viewers want Gujarati singer Arvind Vegda to be eliminated.
"Bigg Boss 9" double trouble has contestants in pairs and they have been nominated in pairs. Four pairs have been nominated for the first eviction and they are Rimi Sen-Suyyash Rai, Yuvika Chaudhary-Vikas Bhalla, Arvind Vegda-Ankit Gera and Roopal Tyagi-Digangana Suryavanshi.
IBTimes India conducted a poll asking who among the eight nominated contestants should be evicted from the "Bigg Boss" house this week. And the poll result isn't surprising at all.

Bigg Boss 9

Bigg Boss 9 first elimination poll result
Gujarati singer Arvind Vegda received maximum votes, followed by "Dhoom" actress Rimi Sen and 'princes' Digangana Suryavanshi. Around 26% people voted for Arvind.
Arvind, who is known for the "Bhai Bhai" song, has made it to the headlines because of his snoring problem. The loud snoring of -- Arvind and Vikas – disturbed the sleep of almost all the contestants from day one. Contestants even nominated Arvind and Vikas because of their snoring problem.
Well, it looks like that not only the contestants but even audiences' sleep have been spoiled because of his snoring problem and thus they want to see him out of the house. But will he bid adieu to the show this week or will someone else leave the house?
We can just wait for "Weekend Ka Vaar" with Salman episode to know who will get evicted this week.
The weekend special episode, hosted by Salman, will be aired at 9 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

BIGG BOSS 9: Watch out for the first catfight of the season tonight!

Bigg Boss House is getting really heated up now as the first cat fight of the house is just about to begin. Yes, tonight’s episode will showcase a cat fight between the two beautiful ladies- Mandana Karimi and Rochelle Rao. Needless to say why it happened, the ladies actually lost their cool to an extent that there were tears around.
Here’s the detailed thing. We already informed you that Mandana has been throwing tantrums over not sleeping next to Arvind and Vikas. The whole house let the actress sleep near Vikas finally, but Mandana told Keith that she won’t sleep next to Vikas and hence switched placed with him.

Seeing this, Keith’s girlfriend Rochelle will Mandana politely as to why was she sleeping in Keith’s bed as Rochelle wanted to sleep next to Keith.

Mandana will actually lose her temper while trying to justify herself and will remain there choosing not to move anywhere else. Things will get bad when both of them will start fighting on wanting to sleep next to Keith. Imagine! Poor (and lucky) Keith will chose to avoid the drama and continue to make his bed. Mandana’s repeated usage of the words by addressing Keith as ‘my partner’ will lead Rochelle lose her temper saying, “Your partner is my boyfriend!”

Rochelle was expecting Mandana to understand her as the former was supporting her throughout the day when she refused to sleep near Vikas and Arvind. Rochelle will break down and hug boyfriend Keith telling him that she just wants a minute alone with him and that she cannot tolerate this any more. Keith will try to make her comfortable and kept the hug going till she felt better.
Mandana STILL won’t get affected and stubbornly go off to sleep in Keith’s bed saying that she had nowords. The housemates will try to calm Rochelle down but she will say that she wants alone time with Keith.

Bigg Boss 9: Keith Sequeira no longer wants girlfriend Rochelle?

New Delhi: Images of Mandana Karimi having a fight with Bigg Boss co-inmate Rochelle Rao from last night is hard to forget. It doesn't take rocket science to guess that Rochelle could very well be insecure given the fact that her boyfriend has been paired opposite to Mandana. So is it time that the inmates got a chance to shuffle their partners? This new promo shows exactly that!

Keith and Rochelle are dating from three months

Hang on, though! This promo shows Rochelle wanting back her boyfriend Keith, but Keith showing no interest in partnering with his girlfriend. Is this going to be the first romantic twist in the Bigg Boss house? Are there cracks between Keith and Rochelle?

We are afraid that's not the case, though! Rochelle will be getting a new partner indeed, but because other partners had requested a shuffle and not because of Keith's reluctance. Actually, Rimi Sen and Suyyash Rai decided to swap partners with Aman Verma and Kishwer Merchantt. Keith and Rochelle remained reluctant to swap partners through this opportunity. But the picture is now clear: Rimi is partners with Rochelle and Suyyash has been paired with Prince Narula.

Well, well! Rochelle and Rimi...another catfight around the corner? New friends or new foes? Bigg Boss 9 promises more excitement in the days to come.

BIGG BOSS 9: DAY 3- Suyyash's anger, Mandana's nakhre and a love story!

Day 3 of Bigg Boss started with the enthusiastic ring of Tattad Tattad and Bhai Bhai alarm to wake everyone up in a jolly mood.

Further, Yuvika and Prince are sitting and chatting about rest of the contestants. Whats interesting is that Prince is seen expressing interest in Yuvika with his mannerism and behaviour. He tells Yuvika as to how he gets negative vibes from Aman, Kishwer and Suyyash. Prince is also seen standing by Yuvika when she was having a problem with the paranthas. He supported her by doing multitasking as well. Is that what we can call budding love or just healthy flirtng?

The third day also started with much irritation in a contestant that’s ultimately leading them in dark shade by other contestants.

Mandana’s mood is starting to take a backseat when she is seen telling partner Keith how his girlfriend Rochelle needs to take a chill pill and that she is not here to break them up!
She is also seen fuming at Aman when he is playfully stopping her from punching him.

The phobia task didn’t end as yet if you thought so. Bigg Boss announced that the luxury budget will be delegated to the pair who wins the challenge.
The next jodi had to face the fear of music i.e. Melophobia. Suyyash and Rimi was asked to chose a pair and they selected Kishwer and Aman for  the same. In this yet another weird task, the contestants had to play the mouth organ inside a dead fish’s mouth.

Kishwer and Aman did the task decently but it sure looked disgusting.

Again, Yuvika and Vikas were asked to select a pair for facing another task (read yikes) that was Trichophobia (the fear of hair). In this task, Kishwer and Aman has to put a shampooed hair mask on their face for five minutes.

Next phobia is the fear of needles or Trypanophobia that was given to Rimi and Suyyash by Roopal and Digangana. Now, this required making a permanent tattoo of ‘Bigg Boss’ on their hands.

The tattoo being there for the rest of their lives, Rimi refused at first but when Suyyash got a little pissed with her unsporting attitude, she wanted to know the size. Suyyash stands by her and asks Bigg Boss the size of the tattoo to which Bigg Boss doesn’t respond. Upon understanding that the size of the tattoo is too big for their comfort, Suyyash throws a hissy fit saying that the font and size is not acceptable to them. Suyyash is almost on the verge of losing his temper and both of them raise the white flag and come out.

Suyyash made a comment on Mandana at the time of the task but when he came out Mandana was seen taunting him about the same. Later, she broke down to which Suyyash apologised like a gentleman and was seen crooning a song to make her feel better!

Mandana’s nakhre

Mandana Karimi is starting to feel really cornered with the things happening in the house. She was firstly seen making an issue of having to sleep anywhere within a kilometre’s radius near Vikas and Arvind due to their snores. Everyone told her that everyone has to adjust in the house but she was stern on her point.

Kishwer, Suyyash, Aman, Arvind and Ankit make fun of Mandana

To Mandana’s disagreement of adjusting in the night at the time of sleep, Kishwer is seen informing Suyyash in a funny way about what Mandana said. Kishwer is again seeing making fun of Mandana in front of Suyyash, Aman, Arvind and Ankit by talking in Mandana’s accent to make fun of her. All of them share a laugh together.

The seeds of frustration and stubbornness have already started popping and now it’s really going to affect Rochelle in the next episode. The sparks of an ugly fight are already started in the house.
